A is for Austen

It is a truth universally acknowledged that I am not a fan of reading historical classics. Jane Eyre bored me into the attic, Jude the Obscure should’ve stayed hidden, and Wuthering Heights is better when it’s the Kate Bush version.

But I’ve heard people rhapsodise about Jane Austen, Pride and Prejudice and Colin Firth in his soggy breeks, so I thought I’d give it a go.
